In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Welcome to Al Barakah School
Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah) with over 25 years of experience, Al Barakah provides a vibrant, nurturing environment for students to grow in both Islamic knowledge and character. Our mission is rooted in Islamic values according to the Qur’an and Sunnah (the way of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), high standards and a commitment to developing confident, well-rounded British Muslims who contribute positively to the wider society.
What We Do
We offer engaging and balanced lessons in Islamic Studies, Qur’an and Arabic, with a strong focus on character development. Our holistic approach nurtures every learner, helping them build confidence, uphold Islamic values and develop essential life skills.
Who We Are
We are an independent Islamic school, running on Saturdays, dedicated to providing a safe, supportive and enriching space for young learners. Our staff, families and community work together to nurture faith, identity and lifelong learning. Alhamdullillah we have created our own Islamic Studies, Qur’an and Arabic syllabuses, educational structure and custom books – ensuring our teaching is tailored, relevant and aligned with our core values.
At Al Barakah, we help our students to:
◦ Develop a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge and a clear sense of identity
◦ Achieve success through high-quality structured learning
◦ Grow spiritually, socially and emotionally in a respectful and caring environment
◦ Build lasting friendships and enjoy a sense of belonging
◦ Gain important life skills such as communication, teamwork and responsibility
◦ Make positive contributions to their families, communities and wider society.
Alongside our Saturday school for children, we also offer specialised courses for teenagers and adults, helping learners of all ages to deepen their knowledge and grow in confidence.
Each pupil is prepared for the future, ensuring that they gain a balanced and broad education with a range of skills that enable them to fulfil their potential and to be self-motivated. We encourage community cohesion and work alongside other organisations to achieve this.
We believe in excellence through hard work and commitment, and our school is built on a foundation to please Allah ﷻ and follow His beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. We believe that Al Barakah School is truly a blessing from Allah ﷻ and it is only by His Grace and Mercy that we are able to fulfil our responsibilities.
